Life and Relationships
Between the years 2002 and 2009, Jamal Bryant and Gizelle were married. They decided to give their relationship another shot in 2019, and it was all captured on the TV show “The Real Housewives of Potomac,” where Gizelle Bryant had starred for multiple seasons. When Monique Samuels, another cast member of The Real Housewives, accused Bryant of cheating on his fiancée Gizelle in the year 2020, she referred to him on air as a “holy whore” and dubbed him a “holy whore.” Then, she presented her evidence against the pastor for everyone in the world to see. It was a folder full of “receipts” that were supposed to prove Jamal’s relationship with a woman in New York.
Jamal and Gizelle are both involved in the parenting of their three daughters, Adore, Angel, and Grace, all of whom were born while the couple was still married. Despite this, the pastor was able to father another child while they were still married. In 2007, the pastor publicly recognized the birth of his daughter, Naomi, who he had conceived with Michelle Wedderburn, a member of the church who was 17 years old at the time. Latoya Odom, a member of Bryant’s church, became his third child’s mother in 2016, giving birth to a son that they called John Karston Bryant. This was Bryant’s fourth child overall. This was also the year that Jamal Bryant and Tweet started their relationship that would last for two years.
Although Bryant, his family, and Gizelle have all made appearances on the show together, Bryant has made it publically known that he does not intend to return to RHOP in the future. The following is what the pastor says in the video that was uploaded in the year 2020: “I’m not going to have sexual relations with any of the women that attend my church […] If you’re not married, you can’t even dream about having a mistress.” The allegations that Jamal Bryant had a new baby were categorically denied, and he neither confirmed nor refuted the relationship with the New Yorker. Instead, he simply reminded followers that he and Gizelle had been divorced for 11 years at the time.

This was not the first time Jamal has been accused of adultery; in fact, Jamal Bryant and Gizelle have been estranged from one another since the allegations first surfaced.
Following the simultaneous filings for divorce by Bryant and his spouse, officials of the A.M.E. denomination intended, as of February 2008, to enter into discussions regarding Bryant’s leadership qualifications. These filings came after Bryant and his wife had been married for many years. On the other hand, they claimed that Bryant did not have to go through a disciplinary trial because nobody brought a complaint against him forward. According to statements made by leaders of the church, Bryant “was never charged via the church system with anything.” 2019 saw a new chapter in the couple’s relationship, during which they started going out on dates.
