Net Worth Megan Fox: Biography

The 16th of May, 1986 found Gloria Darlene and Franklin Thomas Fox welcoming their daughter Megan Denise Fox into the world in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. She was raised in Rockwood, a neighboring town, for most of her early years.

When Fox was three years old, her parents—her father was a prison officer and her mother was a nurse—divorced. Megan and her sister were reared by their mother and her new husband, Tony Tonachio, after their mother remarried. She was brought up “very rigorously Pentecostal,” yet she went to Catholic school for a total of 12 years later on in life.

She stated that the two were “extremely strict,” and that she was not permitted to have a partner or invite guests to her house. She also stated that the two did not allow her to watch television. She did not move out of her mother’s home until she had earned sufficient funds to sustain herself financially.

It was five years old that Fox began her dance and theater training in the city of Kingston, Tennessee. She sang in the chorus at Kingston Elementary School and swam for the Kingston Clippers while also taking dancing classes at the community center in Kingston. Fox’s training resumed after her family moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, when she was ten years old.

Fox’s modeling career began at the age of 13 after she won several of the awards at the prestigious 1999 American Modeling and Talent Convention show in Hilton Head, South Carolina. The first two years of high school that Fox spent in Port St. Lucie were spent at Morningside Academy, and then she transferred to St. Lucie West Centennial High School for her junior year.

When she was 17, she made the decision to move to Los Angeles, California, and as a result, she completed a correspondence course to earn her high school diploma.

Fox did not hold back when she discussed her experiences during her time in school. She revealed that when she was in middle school, she was the target of bullying and ate her lunch in the bathroom stall to avoid confrontations.

She claimed that the issue was not with her physical appearance, but rather the fact that she had always got along better with boys which “rubbed certain folks the wrong way.” Fox also claimed that she was never well-liked during her time at the high school where she attended “Because I have a very aggressive personality and because girls didn’t like me because of that, I was hated by everyone, and I was a total outcast.

The only people who were ever my friends were other guys. Throughout my entire life, I’ve only ever had one wonderful relationship.” In the same interview, she says that she detested going to school and had a difficult time concentrating “never been much of a believer in conventional education, and the education I was receiving at the time didn’t seem particularly relevant.” As a result, I didn’t really pay attention to that aspect of it.”
